Sinus Infections – recurrent sinus infections can severely disrupt your life. If you suffer from recurrent headaches, drainage, congestion and stuffiness, we can help you return to good health. We are skilled in the use of the latest technology, including CT navigational guidance and Balloon Sinuplasty. We offer allergy testing and treatment of allergies, which is often critical to successfully getting you back to good sinus health. Nasal Obstruction – chronic nasal blockage is never normal and can lead to significant discomfort, snoring or sleep apnea, and limited exercise tolerance. A complete nasal examination is key to determining the cause of nasal obstruction, including: deviated septum, overly large turbinates, polyps, large adenoids, nasal allergies, abnormal growths. We are experts at treating these problems, and in many patients a minimally invasive procedure will provide long-lasting relief. We use the latest technology, including coblation and somnoplasty. Turbinoplasty – a common cause of nasal blockage is large turbinates. When medications fail to relieve the blockage, turbinate reduction can be performed quickly and with little pain with a minimally invasive office procedure. The use of the latest technology, including Somnoplasty or Coblation, makes this procedure possible. Most patients can return to work the same day, and pain is easily managed with over-the-counter pain relievers such as Tylenol or ibuprofen. Septoplasty – a common cause of nasal blockage is a crooked septum. This problem can be fixed with a brief outpatient surgery that usually does not require nasal packing. Most patients return to full activities within one week. Pain is usually minimal. Rhinoplasty – in some patients, the nose has been broken, or has grown so that it is crooked, or is collapsing, so that more extensive reconstructive surgery is needed to restore normal breathing and optimal cosmetic appearance. This type of surgery requires the expertise and experience that we offer. Allergy Testing and Treatment – diagnosis and management of allergies is very important to your well-being. In many patients, medications alone will control allergies. In others, allergy shots may be needed. Sometimes a combination of treatments is necessary. We offer skin testing and allergy shots for appropriate patients.
